In November 2008 Jason Handy lost his father to cancer. Seeing his father succumb to this awful disease he decided he wanted to somehow help the Cancer Research charities through fund raising and motorcycle riding.
Jason has been an avid motorcycle fanatic for over 20 years and in 2009 decided to combine his love for motorcycles with raising as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK. Ride 4 Life was born with Jason and 70 like-minded fanatics riding around the Gloucestershire roads and raising £1,100.
The event was repeated again in 2011 when 41 bikers took to the roads raising £1,400.
This year Jason would like to see if he can get 100+ motorcycles to take part in Ride 4 Life 2013 so if you are fanatical about motorcycles, like the idea of riding approximately 77 miles on the 18th of August this year and raising money for Cancer Research UK, please register your interest and we look forward to seeing you all on the day!
